Even with the increasing number of flights arriving at our local airports driving still remains a popular way to travel to South West France.

Not only do you eliminate the need to hire a car, you will have a bit more room to take home some of the delights you will experience during your holiday. The drive from any of the sea ports is a great way to see the diversities of France where you could be forgiven for thinking a Friday afternoon was a Sunday morning.

Crossing the channel by ferry takes between 1 and 9 hours, with the most popular ferry operators being Brittany Ferries, P&O and Sea France

The most convenient way we have found to cross the channel is via Eurotunnel where the crossing takes 35 minutes and costs from as little as £90 return for an average sized car.

We know of a number of tried and tested routes from the sea ports including a direct motorway trip that can take between 7 and 10 hours, a leisurely drive across country or maybe you fancy an overnight stop in Paris or elsewhere. Please Contact us if you would like any help or advice regarding your crossing or route.
