Our Location

We are ideally located between the towns of Villeneuve-sur-Lot, Agen and Cahors, to explore one of the most unspoilt regions of France.

Our local village, Bourlens with its 11th century church and traditional narrow streets, is just a short walk away and the beautiful Bastide town of Tournon d’Agenais is just a little further. Here you will find an outstanding restaurant, a number of bars and some essential shops. The nearest supermarkets are in Fumel, a short 10 minutes drive away.

The Lot et Garonne remains one of the most beautiful untouched areas of Southern France where you can still enjoy the hot climate, breathtaking scenery and explore the real France away from the crowds whilst mingling with very welcoming locals.

Many popular wine growing areas are within easy reach of Labarde. Buzet, Bordeaux and Cahors are all relatively close by. The majority of our favourite vineyards are open for tours and tastings.

The nearby rivers are a great place to spend a day, whether you want to take a boat trip on the Lot around the medieval town of Cahors or relax in one of the many riverside restaurants.

There is such a diverse selection of towns, villages and activities that there really is something for everyone.
