The Beffroi, our nearest restaurant, in Tournon d’Agenais situated in the Place de la Marie of this beautiful bastide town, offers a truly French experience. Try the set menus, they are exceptional and you will marvel at the flavours and inspirational presentation and don’t be surprised by those extra delicacies they bring to your table.

Les Voyageurs, just 5 minutes from the cottages, is popular at lunch times offering menu du jour and family Sunday lunch, but you will need to make a reservation in high season. Potage, a soup of local vegetables, côte de agneau (roast lamb) and bœuf bourguignonne are part of the traditional menu.

Le Moulin, set in a restored water mill, is usually best selected for a special evening out. The table is yours for the evening and offers a classic menu, fantastic presentation and personal friendly service.

L'Auberge du Brelan, on the route de Agen is great for younger members of the family. Set in woodland it has play equipment, table tennis and bar football, all of which can help children and adults enjoy a special evening out.

Les Bons Enfants at Bonaguil is a must for lunch, evening meal or just a crêpe or ice cream. Your English hosts will delight in serving you on the open terrace complete with magnificent views of the magnificent ramparts of Chateau Bonaguil or in the cosy dining room by the large open fire. Try the filet du bœuf with frites, the best around here.

Cafés and bars are a feature of many towns and villages. They are usually open all day serving beers, wines and spirits and always coffee and tea.

In the summer the streets are scattered with places to sit in the sun or shade and enjoy a refreshing drink. Most bars also serve food at lunch time, but there’s no problem if you just want to order a beer or coffee.
