Finally with the evenings warming up a little we can admire the night sky without wrapping up like we're heading out on an arctic winter expedition. Sadly my stargazing is a little like my golf, if the weathers great and there's beer involved I'm all in!
You could spend a whole evening just gazing at the delights that can be found in the constellation of Orion. One of the benefits of being on holiday at Labarde at this time of year, as sadly it isn't visible in the evening sky during the Summer months.
There is always the moon though, which never fails to impress, and as you will probably know if you have spent an evening here looking through the telescope it's amazing how good the pictures can be, taken by pointing the camera on your mobile phone at the eyepiece.
